Its been too long since I've done this so back at it again. Many prayer request have flown by me that I had to go hunt a lot of them out. Even though I haven't got this up in awhile prayer should never be knocked out for a few days. Days where things are full of stress I find are some of the times that it feels good to pray and just pour it on God and trust Him through this. I'm sick right now so I've been getting a lot done around here, my account, and life. Whatever your going through it feels good just to tell God how you feel and trust Him with what's next. When we talk to God its an connecting that many people don't think about. Think about it, we are talking to the Creator of the universe, Almighty God, The Great I Am, and He wants to hear us and be ourselves. Its just awesome. Now lets get started

Warrior by Steven Curtis Chapman:…

Guys, please have my grandma in your prayers, she's not feeling good, and we're all worried about her

So i found out earlier that my grandma has been scheduled for surgery, and my mother is pretty upset by this, so i'm asking prayers once more for both my grandma and my mother, and also, a prayer for me as well, there's a bad storm coming tonight.

My little brother has had this thing (I can't spell the proper word) in his stomach since he was little...It's been acting up recently, and so he's had trouble eating and swallowing. It went away for awhile, but now...He went to the doctor today. He's on a prescription now, so we're just praying it will work. It worries me though. He's only two, and is underweight. With him not eating, it really doesn't help. So...Prayers are appreciated.

My neighbor's daughter has a very serious, possibly life threatening, brain tumor. Her name is Alison and she's in her early or mid-20's. Alison is also a new mom to a 2-month old daughter. She's having surgery tonight to remove the tumor. So far, everything has gone right but she could certainly use more thoughts and prayers in hopes that things keep progressing in a positive direction.

If you choose to edit my prayer above into your prayer journal entry, it would be much appreciated as every prayer, no matter how big or how small, helps in her recovery.
Thank you for your time. God bless.

It's not often that I go to those and ask for prayer online, but I'm feeling heavy with burdens that need to be lifted.

Lately, I've been feeling like I hardly made friends either online or in real life. I wants friends who can be real and honest with me, even if they're scared to share certain feelings with me, either online or in real life. Some people are more worried about having to avoid those so as to not get their feelings hurt. I'm a person who wpuld do such a thing and i wonder if, maybe, there's always been something about me that turns people off. Sometimes, I end up looking like a fool and saying things that I never meant to say, which may cause distress or feelings to be hurt. I began to wonder if I ever made friends at all or if I'm just talking to a wall with words and images. I may always be at fault for the things I might say to upset them, but I want to be better at how I interact with those I care about.

My prayer request is that I hope The Lord will help me to be better at being a friend and that he'll help me to realize that the people I know are the kind of friends that appreciate me for who I am and can try to be honest with me, even if it seems hard at times because I want to help and care for those I care about.

Thank you and God Bless.

I need prayer. Im going tgrough a bit of a sticky situation. I need new parts for my car, and my tax return still hasnt arrived.

Please pray that the Lord will supply all my needs.

I know he will. He took care of me this far. And I know for a faxt he wont forsake me. Please and thank you. God bless!

Welcome to :icontake-up-your-cross:!

We welcome all you brothers and sisters in Christ! This is a group to spread and share God's love and Christ! All are welcome. Call us the Mission Outreach! We'll accept any kind of art (anime, photography, cosplay, writing, journals, ministries, etc) As long as it's not yaoi, hentai, or yuri (if you don't know what that is, it's basically Gay and Mature artwork.)

Request to join and write your ~testimony~ within your request!

Please Include These Points in Your ~Testimony~:

† Whether or not you have accepted Christ as your Savior

† How God has changed your life

† And anything else you feel necessary!

This is because we have decided, as admins, that this group should have a doctrine. Thanks!

Our Beliefs
•The Bible is the Word of God. From Genesis to Revelation. Nothing more, nothing less.
•There is only one God, yet there exists three simultaneous beings: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
•Jesus Christ is the Son of the One true God who came to earth to be born of a virgin woman.
•Jesus Christ suffered and died on a cross, a form of Roman execution, but also suffered spiritually in order to save you and me from our sins. Thus, rekindling a possible relationship with our original Creator.
•Jesus Christ rose from the dead after three days in the grave.
•Baptism is an act of obedience and not a requirement for salvation.
•Salvation is obtained by grace, faith, and Christ’s death ―not by good works.

Please, feel free to join, note us, or request prayer!

This group is fairly small, but we will grow it! Slowly but surely and with Christs blessings ^^

Thanks for reading! Have a great time in our group and many blessings to you in Christ Jesus. :D

When you say "God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are One", I think you need to be a bit more specific than that.

There are plenty of heresies out there about the Godhead, such as Modalism, Unitarianism and Partialism. I myself have written a journal about the Godhead/Trinity.

I would rather you instead create a statement of faith such as this one

Your suggestion is a good one, even though you're example is a bit lengthy for our group.

I agree there's a lot of writing there, although I was thinking maybe creating a 'Statement of Faith' journal, and then linking to it for future reference. Or you could just do a shortened version of it - maybe Nicene Creed length, or perhaps not even that long; I just thought it needs a bit more clarification really. :)

Our doctrinal statement (seeing I am one of the co-founders and an ordained minister) is what we would call Baptistic.  The most important part of our doctrinal statement is that of what we believe the Gospel teaches.  The Nicene creed does not hold to the same doctrinal views as we do regarding the Gospel.  It is the doctrinal beliefs regarding the Gospel which makes the difference between us and other Christian groups.  Basically, you either know between you and God that you are truly Born-again or not; and it has to be according to what the Scriptures teach.  Most of us in this group go to Fundamental Baptist Churches:  whether in the US or in some other part of the world.  One of our members lives in New Zealand.  So, in general, I don't believe that we are going to change our doctrinal statement that readily.  I hope this explains some things about us.

Thanks for the heads up, brother. I guess I was just trying to be inclusive (1st Corinthians 1:10 in mind). But you're right. Perhaps we will work on posting a stronger statement of faith. The CARM Statement of Faith seems to be ideal! Thank you. You seem to be a great servant of Christ. God bless <3

Until my job situation improves with less hours, I am not going to be able to do anything for who knows how long.

We look at things from a Biblical/spiritual viewpoint.  We have to take the same viewpoint as God does through the Bible.  If the Bible is against it, we have to be against it.  If the person has accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and repented of their sinful lifestyle, then we can take them in.  If the person is struggling in letting go of this sinful lifestyle after accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior, we can sometimes help them; if they really want help.

Satan is a real person to us.  And we know that he is always trying to get people trapped into such sinful lifestyles.  Any person who is not in Christ, is a bondslave to Satan.  But Jesus Christ can break those bonds if the person really wants to be free.  The Bible teaches that all people before God are sinners.  It makes no difference whether in Christ or not.  The only major difference is that true Christians know that they have been forgiven of God, and live in His  power to not continue in that former sinful lifestyle.  Are Christians perfect?  NO.  They are only Sinners who have been forgiven by God through Jesus Christ by their own choice.

I hope this helps a bit.  If you have further questions, I'll do what I can to help.  God loves you and your friend, and He doesn't want you and your friend to be slaves to Satan.  I was a slave to Satan for 20 years before I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior--and that was back in 1975.   The Bible promises, "Ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free."  It is never pleasant to see the truth about yourself from God's point of view as found in the Bible.  There's no room with God for opinions or debate:  with Him, it is absolute Law.  But His mercy and Grace, with His power allows a person to live and please God easier than trying to do it in your own strength.
